Overall a good experience, but probably one I won’t play again later. The included DLC and extras were nice, but didn’t have a real impact on the story, and were very short. I can only attribute that to the writer/developer getting a bit tired of working on it and wanting to finish sooner than planned.
In addition to most of the action happening in the last 25% or less of the game, the last third of it felt very rushed – almost like everything was happening all at once. A bit detracting from the story, but not terribly so. The MC simply didn’t take advantage of them like any real male would, nor did he even try to think smartly about how best to use and strengthen them.
Without trying to spoil the plot any… the special twist (MC powers) was mostly wasted in the first half of the story as well. Even if you aren’t looking for a fap-fest it really draws out that portion of the game, and you may find yourself clicking a bit faster as a result. Made it felt like the first 75%+ was a big blue-ball for the player. Second half was better in that regard, but almost *all* of the really good sex sequences were right up in the last 5-10% of the game, which was a bit of a letdown. First half of game was really sparse on sex, was almost all story and background. As ever, to carry out the 'quests' he will have to make the right decisions and hold conversations without getting straight to the point or he will get the brush off and end up in his room with only his right hand for company.Good looking characters (some are really good). That is why, while he can, the only thing he wants to do is meet and date (euphemism) all the women he can before his buddy, starting with his pretty and unattainable house-mate.
The young man has raging hormones, has just finished high school but, instead of having before him a nice university life surrounded by women (another classic in these games), he is two or three months away from ending up in a military academy to which his father is sending him, which will just be a farmyard full of cocks. This game for Windows, also available in Android version, tells the typical story of 'unbridled love'. Dreams of Desire is the typical kind of adult conversational game which was so popular during the graphical adventure boom a few years back and now it is booming again thanks to the visual novel engine Ren'Py.
